Threshold Impact Venture Mentoring Service

The University of Alberta Threshold Impact Venture Mentoring Service (VMS) supports all members of the University of Alberta community (students, faculty, staff, and alumni). Their focus is on cultivating strong and capable entrepreneurs through coaching and guidance.

Venture Mentoring Service of Alberta

The Venture Mentoring Service of Alberta (VMSA) is a volunteer organization that provides objective, conflict-free guidance to entrepreneurs. Based on the MIT VMS Model; each entrepreneur is matched with a team of mentors, which gives a more in-depth experience than traditional 1:1 relationships.

Rainforest Alberta is an informal organization of people working together to improve Alberta’s innovation ecosystem. Their goal is to grow the same invisible infrastructure that underlies successful tech communities like Silicon Valley, right here in Alberta.
